RecScreen® 5000 P
RecScreen® 5000 P is a premium screen fabric made from thick yarns woven in a Panama (mat 2/2) pattern. Featuring a medium-high openness factor of 10%, it offers excellent visual comfort while maintaining a clear outside view.
Specifically designed for curtains and large spaces, its open structure and substantial weight make it ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications without the need for tension.

RecScreen® 6000
RecScreen® 6000 is a robust screen fabric woven from thick yarns in a twill pattern, featuring diagonal ribs on both sides that enhance strength. This effect is further emphasized by the use of differently colored warps and wefts.
With an average openness factor of 3%, it allows air permeability, promoting ventilation and contributing to the thermal stability of interior spaces. Known for its excellent dimensional stability, even under tension, RecScreen® 6000 is strong, durable, and heavyweight.
Suitable for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications, it performs exceptionally well in large curtains, ZIP screens, and awnings.

RecScreen® 5000P Limited Warranty
RECASENS manufactures durable, high-quality exterior solar control fabrics. RecScreen® 5000P fabrics come with a 10-year limited warranty for commercial vertical screen applications, starting from the original purchase date.
This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials, as well as excessive loss of strength or color due to normal exposure, including sunlight, rot, mildew, or atmospheric chemicals, that may render the fabric unserviceable. This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser.
Warranty Coverage:
- Years 1–5: Full material cost coverage.
- Years 6–10: Pro-rated coverage, reimbursing 10% of the original fabric cost for each remaining year of the warranty.
The warranty is void if the fabric is damaged due to neglect, misuse, improper care, exposure to harmful chemicals, accidents, vandalism, acts of God, or other causes unrelated to material or workmanship defects. RECASENS does not endorse specific end uses; customers are responsible for testing fabric suitability for their applications.
If RecScreen® 5000P fabric fails within the warranty period, RECASENS USA will provide a credit or replacement fabric at its discretion. Claims must include the original fabric invoice and the end product invoice. RECASENS USA’s liability is limited to fabric costs and does not cover any additional costs related to the specific application.
Any defects in fabric construction, color match, or strength discovered upon delivery should be reported promptly to RECASENS USA before fabrication or modification.
Care Recommendations:
For optimal longevity, clean RecScreen® 5000P fabrics regularly. Residential applications should be cleaned at least twice yearly, while commercial and high-traffic applications may require more frequent maintenance.
RecScreen® Yarns Composition
RecScreen® fabrics are crafted from PVC-coated, high-tenacity polyester yarns.
Our yarns are produced at our Sant Jordi de Cercs facility (Barcelona) and woven at our factory in La Pobla de Montornés (Tarragona), ensuring full control over manufacturing and quality assurance.
RECASENS utilizes two types of yarn—one thick and one thin—whose combinations create varying openness factors and textures. This versatility in yarn selection and weaving techniques makes RecScreen® fabrics ideal for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications, including curtains, awnings, and roller blinds.

Cleaning Instructions for RecScreen® 5000P and 6000
To clean RecScreen® 5000P and RecScreen® 6000 fabrics, prepare a cleaning solution using:
- 1 cup mild detergent
- 1 cup liquid bleach
- 3 gallons of warm water
Use a sponge to gently clean the fabric with this solution. Protect furnishings, trims, and plants from contact with the cleaning agents to prevent damage.
After cleaning, rinse the screen thoroughly with clear water and allow it to air dry completely.
For best results, treat stains promptly. Avoid using abrasive household cleaners, solvents, or petroleum-based products.
